Canggu is lined with stylish cafés and shops that draw in-the-know travelers and locals alike.
Right in the middle of it all sits TROPIS, a beautifully curated shop built around natural-material homeware.
One look at the displays, and it's easy to fall for pieces that turn everyday life into something a little more special.

Location & Access

TROPIS sits in the heart of Canggu, about 50 minutes to just over an hour from the airport.
It's a neighborhood full of expats and travelers with a good eye for style.

With all the greenery out front, it almost looks like a plant shop — but step inside, and it's a treasure trove of kitchen and decor finds.
A Space Full of Natural Style

One corner is centered around wood pieces.
Look closer, though, and you'll spot marble shampoo bottles, soap dishes, and woven rattan tissue boxes mixed in.

The other corner is all about kitchen and dining — tableware and everything that goes with it.
Together, these two zones make up the whole shop.
▼Open Shelf Styling

Shelves styled with greenery and small objects offer real ideas for your own space.
That small brown piece in the center is woven from ata grass — it looks effortlessly chic just sitting there.
▼Table Settings

We visited close to Christmas, so the table centerpiece featured a small fir tree.
The ata placemats were a lovely touch too.
Must-See Pieces for Home Lovers
Chunky Ceramics

Indonesian pottery has a signature thickness, likely down to the local clay.
The result is tableware with real handmade warmth.
Wooden Plates

These board-shaped plates are perfect for serving cheese, fruit, or snacks — or even bread and sandwiches. A stylish stand-in for a regular plate.
Soap Dispensers

Marble dispensers with a look straight out of a five-star spa or villa.
They're a bit heavy in your suitcase, but absolutely worth the extra weight.
Tissue Boxes

Ata and rattan tissue boxes are common, but this one is woven from pandan — a plant often used in Balinese prayer offerings.
The shape alone makes it stand out.
Plant Holders

This one's on my personal shopping list — available in multiple sizes, some even stacked in two tiers. Fully washable, so it'll stay looking good for years.
Souvenir-Worthy Finds
A few pieces here make especially great gifts.
Bali Coasters

Mix and match your favorite designs into a set of six — great for your own home or as a gift.
YUKIThis has to be one of the most unique Bali souvenirs out there!
Incense Sets

Bamboo incense holder sets and incense packaged in unusual leaf containers make for a gift you won't find back home.
The handmade incense sticks are thicker than usual, releasing their scent slowly.
Natural Soaps

Natural soaps made with distinctly Balinese ingredients like moringa and turmeric.
The packaging alone makes it gift-worthy.
Pandan Bags

Bags woven from pandan leaves in striking geometric patterns.
The material is tough and durable, built to last a decade or more.
The backpack style in the center photo was especially cute.

Getting stuck in the heat or waiting endlessly for a taxi isn't how you want to spend your trip. A flat-rate private car charter lets you glide smoothly from boutique to boutique.
The Takeaway

What do you think?
A shop this full of beautiful things has a way of making you want to redo your whole home.
Well worth the visit.
