Canggu is actually nearer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I used to surf in Canggu, but it felt too crowded for my taste, so I moved my routine to Kuta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full cap_box is-style-shadow\"><div class=\"cap_box_ttl\"><span>What exactly is nasi jinggo?<\/span><\/div><div class=\"cap_box_content\">\n<p>It's a small portion of rice and side dishes wrapped in banana leaf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It originated as a quick snack for market workers, so the portions are small \u2014 less than a bowl of rice, with just a few bites of side dishes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You'll often find a bit of fried noodles or a small piece of tempeh tucked in too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It typically costs around 5,000 to 10,000 rupiah<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"swell-block-balloon\"><div class=\"translation-block\">It's cooked with coconut milk and turmeric, giving it a rich, comforting flavor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And I always buy extra peanuts to pile on top (I go a little overboard, honestly).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The peanuts come in small bags for about 2,000 rupiah , and I usually add about three bags' worth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">One of the best things about Kuta Beach is that plenty of beachside stalls open early, so you can enjoy a local-style breakfast right on the sand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(You won't find this in Canggu!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2023, a walking path has run along the beach, so even if you skip the surfing, it's a great spot for a stroll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-style-shadow\"><img decoding=\"async\" Kuta Beach is at sunset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It's nowhere near as lively as Seminyak, with no loud music blasting \u2014 just a relaxed, laid-back place to watch the evening unfold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure actually Legian Beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">You won't find many bean bag setups on Kuta Beach itself, but head toward Legian or Double Six Beach and you'll spot plenty of spots
