Bonus: A Little Story About a "Miss"
Honest review! A time when my expectations didn't quite match reality.
A quick reminder: Be careful when judging a place solely by photos on social media or Google Maps.

I found a trendy-looking Japanese curry shop and went there all excited,
thinking, "The Katsu Curry must be amazing!"
The interior was beautiful and the presentation was lovely.
However, once I tried it, the curry sauce was too thin and lacked that deep, rich flavor.
It was different from that "deep, savory Japanese curry" we all know and love.
It was a good reminder of how important it is not to rely entirely on reviews and photos.
Of course, taste is subjective.
It might be perfect for someone who prefers a lighter, soupier curry.

I hope you find your own favorite Japanese spot in Bali!
