No. 1: Beach Sandals Made from Recycled Tires

These sustainable beach sandals are crafted from recycled tire materials.
The recycled tires are used for the soles, making them non-slip and very durable, so they last a long time even though they’re a bit pricey.

They are also very comfortable to wear.

No2 : Performance Surfwear

I forgot the exact price, but it was around 6,000–7,000 yen (about USD 40–50).
This swimsuit is from EntoWa Beach Store in Kuta.
The bottom is made of wetsuit material, so it keeps you warm.

The brand is run by a Japanese female surfer, and it also offers a wide range of resort wear.

This is another swimsuit I bought specifically for surfing. The waistline detail makes the stomach area look nicely defined.

We carry bikinis as well

EntoWa’s swimsuits have incredibly cute patterns.Even patterns that seem too bold or too simple often look just right once you try them on, so I really recommend fitting them.
No.3: Batik Dress

I liked this style so much that I bought two in a row.
These comfortable designs look great even without a bra, making them perfect for everyday wear in Bali.

Many colors and patterns are available, so visit the store to explore them all.

No.4: Linen Set

Crafted in thin black and white striped linen, the set exudes casual elegance.

Its versatile design works just as well in home country delivering outstanding value.
A matching set makes styling effortless. I often wear it to slightly dressy restaurants or luxury hotels.
Even if short pants feel a bit daring in Japan, Bali is a place where you can enjoy them freely. That’s part of the charm.

▼ Bring your own fabric and order custom-made

Denpasar boasts a vibrant textile district home to skilled bespoke tailors.
My top pick is Qweck Fashion, where the welcoming female owner helps bring your custom designs to life.

Since communication is in Indonesian only, going with a guide is recommended.

Beauty & Daily Essentials
#1 Coconut Soap

This soap is made by a brand called Bratwangi, affectionately known as “Masako Soap.”
While there are nearly 20 scents to choose from, the Orange & Papaya is the absolute standout. Its subtle, zesty aroma makes every shower feel like a refreshing spa moment.
Because it’s coconut-based, it moisturizes the skin well and doesn’t leave it feeling tight after use.

You can also buy it at the workshop-shop in Ubud, but it’s a bit out of the way. Buying it at Papaya Supermarket is much easier.

#2 Saribing Cream

This cult-favorite Bali cream is so good, you’ll wish you’d stocked up on your first trip.
Powered by fermented herbs, it’s a multitasking hero for hydration and anti-aging.

It has a bold, punchy lemongrass scent that quickly becomes part of your ritual.

#3 Coconut Hair Oil

Mustika Ratu is a long-established Indonesian cosmetic brand with a wide range of products.
Among them, this hair oil is especially good.

I use it as an out-bath treatment after shampooing and also before going into the ocean to protect my hair from salt and sun.

It comes in two sizes, and the smaller one is perfect to carry for travel or surfing.
It leaves your hair smooth and shiny, as if the cuticles have come back to life. Definitely worth trying.

#4 ESQA Vegan Eyeliner

This eyeliner is from ESQA, an Indonesian vegan cosmetics brand.
ESQA holds both halal and vegan certifications and is known in Indonesia as a high-quality, safe vegan cosmetics brand.
Flawless application every time.

The pigmentation is rich, and the precision is effortless.
This waterproof essential comes in two versatile shades: Black and Chai.
If you’re buying it in Bali, Beachwalk is the most convenient place.

You can buy it at a cosmetics select shop inside Beachwalk Shopping Center in Kuta. They also carry brow mascaras and tinted lip products that you can try in person, so it’s definitely worth checking out.
#5 Vaseline Body Lotion

Did you know that Vaseline body lotion is very popular in Indonesia?
It looks like a cream, but the texture feels more like a fresh gel that absorbs quickly into the skin and feels amazing to use.

🙆Go for Pink for deep hydration and a dewy, luminous glow.
🙆Choose Gold to even out skin tone and boost radiance.
There’s also a navy package version designed for nighttime use, focusing on intensive care while you sleep.

Personally, I prefer the scent of the gold one.
70 times the brightening power of vitamin C

This Vaseline series contains beauty ingredients commonly used in facial skincare, such as niacinamide and hyaluronic acid.
In particular, Vaseline’s original brightening blend called “Gluta Glow,” which is written on the package, claims to deliver 70 times the brightening power of stabilized vitamin C.

Since sun exposure dries out the skin, this has become something I really rely on.
Don't miss the UV-protection version for sun-ready skin.

This one is a body lotion with sun protection, designed for daytime use.SPF30 PA++ is more than enough for daytime outings.
You can find it at many supermarkets, but Tiara Dewata in Denpasar had the widest selection.
