Location & Access

It's about a 40-minute drive from the airport, located in the Sanur area.

BYRD HOUSE BALI sits right along Sindhu Beach in Sanur.

Sindhu Beach is also known as one of the best spots to catch a beautiful sunrise.

The restaurant is part of Segara Village Hotel, but with its entrance facing the sea, you can walk straight in from the beachside path without going through the hotel lobby.

A Photogenic, Elegant Interior

Inside the striking bamboo-house structure, a glittering chandelier hangs above pink sofas and floral cushions — a mix of sweet and glamorous in one space.

There's also an open-air wooden deck facing the ocean.

It's the perfect spot for a sunset drink before dinner!

Being hotel-run clearly shows in the service — polished and genuinely pleasant.

High ceilings and bold architecture create a spacious feel, with sea breezes flowing gently through the whole space.

Recommended Food & Drinks

As a hotel restaurant, the menu covers both Indonesian and Western dishes.

They serve KURAKURA, a Bali-brewed craft beer on tap — a light, easy-drinking pale ale.

The beef carpaccio was beautifully presented with edible flowers, topped with tiny quail eggs and arugula, finished with a mustard sauce.

The seafood pizza came loaded with rich tomato sauce, clams, and shrimp, on a well-charred crust with the perfect crisp-to-fluffy balance.

Fresh bread, cakes, and muffins were beautifully displayed — the kind of spread that makes you want to come back for breakfast or teatime.

All the desserts are made in-house with plenty of variety, so I'm already planning to come back for afternoon tea.
