(1) NOURISH

First up: NOURISH, a café and grocery store with locations in Canggu and Uluwatu.
The Canggu branch is in the Berawa area, close to Batu Belig Beach.
YUKISince they open early, why not combine a morning beach walk with breakfast and a bit of shopping here afterward?

Must-Try Items
▼Bulk Bin Section: Salts, Beans, Nuts & More

Around 35 items line the shelves—pink salt, pumpkin seeds, chickpeas, and more. Scoop as much as you like into a purchased container or your own, then weigh and pay.

They also carry quinoa and oats, so you can toss them into yogurt for an easy breakfast!
▼Gluten-Free Foods
NOURISH's grocery shop clearly puts a lot of care into its gluten-free selection. Here are a few favorites!
Gluten-Free Instant Noodles, from 15,000 IDR

Made with cassava flour instead of wheat, these instant noodles start at 15,000 IDR
They're from the Indonesian brand Ladang Lima.

The one on the far left—Coriander Beef Mushroom ramen—is so good.
Gluten-Free Pasta, 82,000 IDR

Available in spaghetti and short pasta, both priced at 92,000 IDR .
Vegan Crackers, from 40,000 IDR

These thin, crispy NOURISH-original crackers swap out wheat flour for oats, tapioca flour, and almond flour.

Just a heads up—not all the crackers on the shelf are gluten-free, so check before you buy.
▼Vegan Cheese Crackers

Loaded with sesame, chia, and flax seeds, these crunchy crackers taste like cheese without any actual cheese—and pack in plenty of omega-3s.
Tempeh Chips, 50,000 IDR

Thin slices of Indonesia's fermented tempeh, baked to a crisp, cost 50,000 IDR.

These are baked instead of fried, so they're the healthier choice.
The one pictured in the middle is dusted with black pepper—the perfect beer snack.
Coconut Snack Bites, 37,000 IDR

These bites bind coconut flakes, chia seeds, and cashews into one snack, priced at 37,000 IDR.
You won't find this gluten-free treat in Japan—and there's no added sugar, just natural sweetness from the coconut!
▼Other Favorites
Coconut Yogurt, 95,000 IDR

NOURISH's house-made yogurt comes in three types: Plain (66,000 IDR), Greek (98,000 IDR), and Coconut (95,000 IDR,).
The coconut yogurt is wonderfully creamy with less tang than regular yogurt—almost like eating dessert.
Beyond the Grocery Aisle
▼NOURISH Original Goods

Tank tops run 220,000 IDR , and bags are 200,000 IDR . The bags are sturdily stitched and built to last—simple and cute.
Self-Love Cards

Like a tarot deck, each card carries a self-love message. Try drawing one a day as a little note to yourself.

(2) SAMADI

Next up: SAMADI, a supermarket attached to a yoga studio.
The complex also includes a restaurant, a warung, and an ice cream shop.
The Vibe

Beyond fresh produce, SAMADI stocks seasonings, cooking tools, stationery, and all kinds of everyday goods.

Their vegetable selection includes plenty of herbs too—basil, dill, Italian parsley, and more.
You can also stock up on leafy greens like kale and spinach.
Must-Try Food
Purpose-Blended Juices, 69,000 IDR
Rather than plain fruit juice, these 650ml blends are crafted for specific purposes—like detox or cleansing—priced at 69,000 IDR.
They'd work well for a juice-only cleanse too.
Spirulina Powder, 192,000 IDR

Standard spirulina powder is easy to find, but this one is freeze-dried straight from the leaf for extra nutrient density. At 192,000 IDR, it's a bit pricey—but think of it as a supplement, and it's a solid deal.

Try stirring it into soup, or blending it into a homemade carrot-apple juice.
A powerhouse algae—one of the ultimate superfoods.
Spirulina is a type of edible blue-green algae, believed to be one of the oldest life forms on Earth, dating back roughly 3 billion years.
Often called "green blood," it's linked to a range of potential benefits:
Supporting eye health
Cancer-preventive properties
Fighting free radicals
Cell repair
—among other benefits.

There's plenty more in the way of healthy seasonings and ingredients here—well worth a browse.
Bamboo Charcoal Salt, 36,000 IDR

This jet-black bamboo charcoal is said to help with teeth whitening and boosting metabolism.
Blended with salt, it's an easy way to work into your everyday cooking.

One jar goes a long way, and at 36,000 IDR, it's a real bargain!
Raw Dried Fruit, from 49,000 IDR

Not your average dried fruit—this is raw dried fruit.
As part of the raw food movement, this fruit is dried at under 48°C, preserving its natural nutrients and enzymes for a higher nutritional value.

Prices vary by fruit, but the one I'd really recommend trying is the dragon fruit at 79,000 IDR.
Guava Jam, 87,500 IDR

Guava and mango jams are true Bali classics, given the island's abundance of tropical fruit. Both cost 87,500 IDR.

Guava isn't all that tasty raw, so it's really better suited to jam or juice.
Beauty Picks Worth Grabbing
SAMADI's shelves are packed with organic, eco-friendly beauty products—a real highlight of the store.
Organic Shampoo, from 80,000 IDR

Free from synthetic surfactants, these shampoos, conditioners, body soaps, and dish soaps are all designed to be kind to the ocean and environment.

The packaging uses recycled glass jars.
Coconut Soap, from 25,000 IDR

This coconut soap comes from Bali Asli, a brand with over 20 years of history, starting at 25,000 IDR.
Handmade by women in the rural village of Pupuan, Bali, it's known for its lovely scent and rich lather.

I gave this as a gift to a friend, and she was amazed at how smooth her skin felt just from washing with it!
Body Balm, 105,000 IDR

This all-over moisturizing balm from the brand Ibu Bumi costs 105,000 IDR.
Ibu Bumi means "Mother Earth" in Indonesian—true to its name, the brand is committed to low-impact, eco-conscious products.

Just a small amount spreads really easily and moisturizes without feeling sticky—I love using it on sunburned skin.
\Shop Bali Like a Pro: Maximize Your Time/
Getting stuck in the heat or waiting endlessly for a taxi isn't how you want to spend your trip. A flat-rate private car charter lets you glide smoothly from boutique to boutique.
One More Thing!
▼Sunday Market

Every Sunday from 9 AM, a Sunday Market takes over the space.

In the courtyard, you'll find vendors selling incense, bread, and organic vegetables.

You can buy freshly picked vegetables and fruit, even just a single piece at a time.
▼Don't Miss the Vegetable Nasi Campur!

This vegetable nasi campur stall inside the complex is open every day.
No meat or fish here—just dishes built around mushrooms and tempe.

From tempeh braised or stir-fried to taste just like meat, each side dish starts at just 5,000 IDR.

There are also skewers made with mushrooms instead of meat—hearty, filling, and delicious.
A great bite to grab while you shop.
