Location & Access

Cheese Boutique by Rosalie, a specialty cheese shop, is located in Sanur.

It's about a 40-minute drive from the airport, right along the bypass road.

The shop's set back a bit, so from the street, all you'll see is the sign.

You'd never guess it from the busy main road, but step through the gate and a charming little shop appears.

A Stylish, Relaxed Interior

As a dedicated cheese shop, Rosalie displays cheeses to take home right in the case, like this.

It's primarily a retail shop, but there's a small eat-in area tucked inside.

It's a compact space with just four tables, seating two to four people each.

There's also outdoor terrace seating shaded by trees, so it doesn't feel too hot out there either.

Crackers & Grissini: from 30,000 IDR

There's a great range of crackers to go with the cheese—mildly spicy chili crackers, black charcoal crackers, and more. Thin and crisp, they're genuinely delicious on their own.

When cheese comes with bread, it fills you up fast—but thin crackers like these let the cheese stay the real star.

Wooden Board: from 100,000 IDR

They also sell wooden boards for serving cheese, along with cute wooden butter knives. Beyond cheese, these would work well for fruit or sandwiches too.

The one thing you have to order at Cheese Boutiqueby Rosalie is the custom platter.

It's arranged based on your group size, giving everyone a taste of several different cheeses.

And it's not just cheese—fruit, pâté, nuts, and baguette are all included on the board too.

The black and white cheese comes warmed and served with honey.

Some cheeses, like this one, are drizzled with honey while still warm.

Others pair well with the smoked salmon and fruit shown in the top right.

And some go great with the olive tapenade.

There's a lot of room to experiment with different combinations.

Both cow's milk and goat's milk cheeses are available!

This platter is best suited for groups of four or more.

For one or two people, there's a smaller set with two to three cheeses, starting at 115,000 IDR.

For this platter, we let them choose the cheese selection and ordered enough for seven people, with one slice each. It came to 110,000 IDR per person.

Snacks Worth Taking Home

You can actually taste the crackers and grissini mentioned earlier before buying them in-store.

Here are two I tried and loved enough to take home.

▼Gluten-Free Cheese & Chocolate Cookie: 35,000 IDR

Made with cassava flour, this gluten-free cookie balances a hint of savory cheese with subtle chocolate sweetness—an ideal match for wine or whiskey.

▼Chili & Lime Crackers: 30,000 IDR

These are flavorful enough to eat on their own, so I bought them without hesitation. They also pair well with liver pâté or dips, and would work great crushed up as a salad topping.
