Getting to Revolver

Right in the middle of the tourist area, but the interior stays relaxed and easy to walk into solo.

Revolverhas locations in Seminyak, Canggu, and the airport —this post covers the Seminyak branch..

It's tucked just off Jalan Kayu Aya, Seminyak's bustling restaurant strip.

Seminyak Square, a great mall for souvenir shopping, is within walking distance too.

A Stylish, Comfortable Space

The atmosphere here is relaxed, not chaotic — the kind of place you don't feel rushed to leave.

There can be a line out front during lunch.

Here's the entrance. It's surrounded by all-black walls, so you can't see inside from the street — which only adds to the hideaway feel.

The mood feels almost like a late-night bar, with dim lighting even in the daytime.

Hard to tell from the photo, but these buttermilk hotcakes are practically swimming in maple syrup.

The batter is about 4cm thick, cooked through and moist, with crispy bacon and egg on the side — that sweet-and-salty combo with the maple syrup really works.

Next time I'll ask for the syrup on the side so I can control the sweetness myself.

The chicken schnitzel topped with Caesar salad looked so good the moment it arrived that we dug in before getting a proper photo — sorry about that!

It's a Mexican-inspired sandwich with jalapeño and chipotle, but it's more sweet-spicy than actually hot.

It comes with oxtail soup and sambal on the side — plenty for a satisfying solo meal.

A Must for Coffee Lovers

Revolver's coffee is well known and exported worldwide.Their house blend beans sell for 130,000 IDR per 250g — coffee lovers should try a cup here.
