12:00Lunch at the organic café on-site

14:00 — Taman Ayun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site

17:30 — Sunset over the ocean at Tanah Lot

Want to actually pull this route off?

A private car charter is the move — full flexibility, zero hassle.

Language options available.

① Yoga at Udara

Let a hammock do the work of unwinding you.

Just past Canggu, in the Seseh area, Udara is a retreat space known for aerial yoga with the sound of waves as your soundtrack.

Sink into the hammock, let gravity do less of the work, and feel everything tight and stiff slowly start to loosen.

It's popular enough that booking ahead through the official site is the smart move.

After class, head to the organic restaurant on-site.

Restaurants thin out further along this route, so knocking out lunch and a bathroom stop here keeps the rest of the day moving smoothly.

Good to know:

Book your class through the official site →See the schedule

The 9am or 10am class fits best with the rest of the day's plans.

There's a genuinely good organic restaurant on-site.

More details here!

② Taman Ayun Temple

A UNESCO temple that doubles as a genuine power spot.

Meru towers rise against green lawns here, and this UNESCO World Heritage site carries a stillness that settles you just by walking through it.

In keeping with Balinese custom, wrap on one of the free sarongs provided before you go in.

The grounds are well-kept, with places to rest, clean restrooms, and a small shop on-site.

Good to know:

IDR 35,000 — bring small bills.

Entry isn't permitted for menstruating visitors, and drone photography isn't allowed.

A parasol comes in handy against the sun.

More details here!

Tanah Lot Temple

A mystical temple, wrapped in one of Bali's best sunsets.

The temple silhouetted against a setting sun — this is Bali's postcard image, in the flesh.

The midday sun is harsh, so aim for sunset when the sky turns dramatic. Time it with low tide (under 1m) and you can walk right up to the temple's base — normally cut off by the sea.

YUKI

Where nature and something sacred meet — that's the kind of day this is.

Good to know:

Entry: IDR 75,000

Check a tide chart ahead of time to plan around low tide.

UV stays strong even in the evening — don't skip the sunscreen.

Dinner in Canggu

Skip the traffic entirely — eat on the way instead.

On the drive back from Tanah Lot toward Canggu, the main road has some great options scattered along it. Eat there before diving into central Canggu's traffic.

Restaurant picks:

Passo by Nook:a reliably good open-air café with nasi campur and Western options →Google Map

San Yook:Korean BBQ with local Bali pork, done really well. Air-conditioned, too, for a proper cool-down →Google Map

HoiAn by MeVui: light, clean pho that hits just right after a busy day →Google Map

The Takeaway: How to Build Your Perfect Day

Move your body in the crisp morning air. Wander through centuries-old temples in the afternoon. End it all wrapped in a Tanah Lot sunset.

By the end of a day this packed, what you're left with is a good kind of tired — and a real sense of having lived it fully.

Your pre-trip checklist:

Book your preferred yoga class through Udara Bali's official site →See the schedule

Check the sunset time and tide level for your visit date.

Lock in a car charter, and skip the transit stress altogether →Check availability

Also worth a look:

If you just want Tanah Lot, quick and efficient, an easy half-day tour is a solid option too.
