About an hour's drive from the airport,this chic boutique resort sits in the heart of Seminyak..

It's part of the Alila brand, which also has sister properties in Ubud and Uluwatu.

What sets this Alila apart is the beach — it's right outside the door.

The hotel faces the ocean directly, and with no vendors or beach shacks nearby, it feels almost like a private stretch of sand.

Breakfast is served atSEASALT restaurant.

You can sit at indoor tables or on the wood deck closest to the ocean. The deck is lovely, but the direct sun gets hot fast — most guests opted for the indoor tables instead.

A Luxurious Breakfast with Ocean Views

Order freely from both the buffet and the à la carte menu — as much as you like.

The buffet covers Western and Indonesian dishes, plenty of fruit, desserts, cheese, and more.

Everything Looks Amazing

With so many yogurt and granola options, building your own bowl with nuts and dried fruit is half the fun.

Good to Know: Booking as a Non-Guest

Breakfast costs 250,000 IDR plus service tax (as of October 2023).

Breakfast runs from 7am to 11am, and there didn't seem to be a strict time limit when we visited.

Reservations Aren't Required — But Worth Making

Note: the hotel's website only allows restaurant bookings from midday onward, so calling or emailing directly is the safer bet.
