YUKIThe weekend afternoon tea is SO worth it! Don't miss out on this amazing deal!
・Looking for a touch of luxury during your Bali trip.
・Interested in the legendary Kempinski afternoon tea experience.
・Wanting to enjoy a premium vibe without the premium price tag.
・Planning a girls' trip or a special anniversary celebration.
Let’s get started!
The Venue for the "Ultimate Afternoon Tea"

The Apurva Kempinski Bali is located in the Nusa Dua area, about a 35-minute drive from the airport.
It’s situated in a high-end resort enclave, surrounded by prestigious hotels like The Ritz-Carlton and Mulia Resort.

The afternoon tea is held at "Selasar Deli," located on the first floor of the hotel.
The Vibe: Atmosphere of the "Ultimate Afternoon Tea"

Kempinski is famous for this breathtaking, iconic view—it’s simply magnificent.
This view can be enjoyed right from the terrace seats at Selasar Deli.
▼The seating area is designed to feel as if it’s perched out over the resort.

▼The seating mostly consists of spacious, plush sofas, perfect for lounging.

▼These are the cozy seats for two.

When I booked for a group of four, we used two of these tables together. Dining while taking in that incredible scenery was the absolute best!
Weekend Exclusive: The Ultimate Afternoon tea

While they offer tea daily, the "Ultimate Afternoon Tea" on Fridays and Saturdays is the one you truly can't miss.

This weekend special is buffet-style, featuring unlimited food and drinks within the designated time!

It’s only 295,000 IDR + tax (approx. $19.70)—an incredible value for a five-star experience! All-you-can-eat at a top-tier luxury hotel? It’s almost too good to be true!

When you can take as much as you want, you end up with a plate piled high like this!

What’s great is that even though it’s a buffet, you can still arrange everything on a classic three-tier stand.
Highlights of the Weekend Afternoon tea
▼ Order Your Drinks Immediately!
Since it’s a buffet, you can grab food right away—but you don’t want to be sitting there with a full plate waiting for your drinks to arrive.I recommend placing your drink order first thing to ensure a seamless experience.

The menu offers a wide variety, from classic coffee and iced tea to fresh pineapple juice and "Jamu" (traditional Balinese herbal tonic).

▼Pick Your Favorites: Sweets & Savories
It’s not just about the sugar rush! The selection of savory bites is incredibly impressive and satisfying.

I’ll be sharing my personal "must-try" picks for both sweets and savories toward the end of this post, so stay tuned!
▼Dining with a View ♡

As expected of a five-star resort, the cutlery and tableware are exquisite, adding an extra touch of elegance to the experience.
For a sophisticated touch, transfer only what you’re about to eat from the three-tier stand to your individual plate.
▼Refills? Yes, please! (Pro-Tip for Seconds)
Since the weekend "Ultimate Afternoon Tea" is a buffet, seconds are absolutely encouraged.

However, the three-tier stand is surprisingly heavy! For your second round, I recommend taking just the wooden plates to the buffet table.

Keep in mind that once you’ve piled your plate with goodies, it’s difficult to slide it back into the stand, so it’s best to enjoy them directly from the plate.
The Top 5 Must-Try Selection
Everything is delicious, but here are the five standout items that you simply cannot miss.
1. Strawberry & Pistachio Cream Puff

A bite-sized puff filled with rich pistachio cream and topped with freeze-dried strawberry. The subtle tartness of the berry perfectly balances the sweet pistachio.
2. Banana Chocolate Tart

A decadent one-bite tart with rich chocolate-banana cream. The banana keeps it from being too sweet, and the crust is incredibly crispy!

Actually, all the tarts here—both sweet and savory—have the best crust. I kept going back for more until I was completely full! (lol)
3. Balinese Chicken Ball

A crowd favorite! These are Balinese-style chicken meatballs (Tsukune style) served with the iconic Sambal Matah. Everyone in my group was raving about them.
4. Crème Dubarry

A silky, rich cauliflower and truffle soup. The aroma of truffle is wonderful, and it’s served with a crispy cheese straw on the side.
5. Ayam Taliwang Tart

A brilliant fusion! This bite-sized tart features "Ayam Taliwang" (spicy grilled chicken from Lombok), recreated as a spiced chicken cream in a crunchy shell.

The spices are so well-balanced—it’s the kind of flavor that makes you crave a glass of wine or champagne!
Reservation Required for the Weekend "Ultimate Afternoon Tea"
Since the lounge is open to non-hotel guests, it attracts visitors from all over Bali and even other Indonesian islands.
Because this buffet-style "Ultimate Afternoon Tea" is strictly limited to Fridays and Saturdays, booking in advance is absolutely essential to secure your seat.
