Getting There

About 35 minutes by car from the airport, Kempinski sits in Nusa Dua
— the same neighborhood as luxury names like the Ritz-Carlton and The Mulia. Even among that company, it stands out.

Afternoon tea is served at Selasar Deli, on the hotel's ground floor.
Step out onto the terrace and the view alone is worth the trip.
The Setting

The moment you're seated, the Indian Ocean fills your view.
▼ A side view of the terrace

▼ Deep, comfortable sofa seating

Sinking into a sofa with the ocean in front of you and a plate of sweets in hand — this is a "glad I came to Bali" kind of moment.
▼These are the cozy seats for two.

When I booked for a group of four, we used two of these tables together. Dining while taking in that incredible scenery was the absolute best!
All-You-Can-Eat, Fridays and Saturdays Only

Afternoon tea runs daily here, but the version worth planning around is the weekend-only upgrade.
\Booking ahead is a must!/

Only on Fridays and Saturdays, everything goes buffet-style — sweets, savories, drinks, all unlimited within your time slot.

And still under $25!

When you can take as much as you want, you end up with a plate piled high like this!
How It Works
▼ Order Your Drinks Immediately!
Start by ordering a drink.

Coffee, iced tea, pineapple juice, even jamu — Bali's traditional herbal tonic — all included, unlimited refills.

▼ Then head to the buffet table
It's not just sweets — the savory spread is just as strong.

Stack that tiered tray as high as you like.
▼Dining with a View ♡

As expected of a five-star resort, the cutlery and tableware are exquisite, adding an extra touch of elegance to the experience.
For a sophisticated touch, transfer only what you’re about to eat from the three-tier stand to your individual plate.
▼Refills? Yes, please! (Pro-Tip for Seconds)
And since it's a buffet, seconds (or thirds) are fair game.

Tempting to carry the whole tiered tray to the buffet, but it's heavy — second round, I just grab a wooden plate instead.

Keep in mind that once you’ve piled your plate with goodies, it’s difficult to slide it back into the stand, so it’s best to enjoy them directly from the plate.
5 Must-Try Picks
Everything is delicious, but here are the five standout items that you simply cannot miss.
1. Strawberry & Pistachio Cream Puff

A bite-sized puff filled with rich pistachio cream and topped with freeze-dried strawberry. The subtle tartness of the berry perfectly balances the sweet pistachio.
2. Banana Chocolate Tart

A decadent one-bite tart with rich chocolate-banana cream. The banana keeps it from being too sweet, and the crust is incredibly crispy!

Actually, all the tarts here—both sweet and savory—have the best crust. I kept going back for more until I was completely full! (lol)
3. Balinese Chicken Ball

A crowd favorite! These are Balinese-style chicken meatballs (Tsukune style) served with the iconic Sambal Matah. Everyone in my group was raving about them.
4. Crème Dubarry

A silky, rich cauliflower and truffle soup. The aroma of truffle is wonderful, and it’s served with a crispy cheese straw on the side.
5. Ayam Taliwang Tart

A brilliant fusion! This bite-sized tart features "Ayam Taliwang" (spicy grilled chicken from Lombok), recreated as a spiced chicken cream in a crunchy shell.

The spices are so well-balanced—it’s the kind of flavor that makes you crave a glass of wine or champagne!
