Bali Buda: Red Rice Wrap

Pesto Probiotic Chicken Wrap: 60,000 IDR

Bali Buda started in Ubud as an organic, natural-food café and now has branches all over the island, including Canggu, Kerobokan, and Denpasar.

Their wraps are made with a tortilla-style base crafted from red rice—a pretty unique twist.

YUKI

I'm pretty sure this is the only place in Bali doing a rice-based wrap.

Pesto Probiotic Chicken Wrap: 60,000 IDR.

"Probiotic chicken" refers to how the chickens are raised—fed lactic acid bacteria and fermented foods that are good for gut health.

The basil sauce pairs beautifully with the light chicken, crunchy bean sprouts, and lettuce.

A great pairing for your wrap?

Fresh Papaya Leaf Juice: 35,000 IDR

This is juice pressed purely from fresh papaya leaves. Papaya fruit juice is common, but leaf juice is genuinely rare—it's said to help boost immunity, reduce fever, and even fight dengue fever.

YUKI

Fair warning: it's really, really bitter! But good medicine tastes bitter, right? Definitely worth trying once.

It comes served with a side of honey.

Bali Buda also has plenty of gluten-free, vegan, and raw dessert options, so here are a couple worth trying after your meal.

▼Oatmeal Cookie

5,000 IDR each

You can buy just one, which is great when you only want a little something. Packed with oats and coconut, the crunchy texture is seriously addictive.

YUKI

At home, I like toasting it first—it gets even crunchier. One or two of these with a coffee is my go-to breakfast.

▼Gluten-Free & Raw Dessert

Raw Chocolate Pudding Pie: 35,000 IDR

This chocolate pudding pie checks every box—vegan, raw, and gluten-free—basically a healthy dessert trifecta.

It's a small portion, making it perfect for after a meal.

YUKI

The creamy chocolate pudding seems to be made with avocado and banana—cool and smooth, with just the right amount of sweetness.

Milk & Madu: Caesar Salad Wrap

Caesar Wrap: 95,000 IDR

Milk & Madu, a hugely popular café in Canggu, is known for consistently high-quality food—every dish is a safe bet. It's always packed.

Their signature Caesar Wrap, 95,000 IDR, is essentially a full Caesar salad rolled up in a tortilla.

YUKI

It's really filling, and the dressing uses anchovies—creamy with just a hint of saltiness, exactly my kind of flavor. Plus it's loaded with romaine lettuce.

it's genuinely delicious!

Breakfast Burrito: 105,000 IDR

This burrito is only available on the breakfast menu, served from 7 AM to 4 PM.

It's filled with scrambled eggs, avocado, beans, and cheese, finished with a hint of spicy jalapeño for a Mexican-style kick.

And for dessert, here's what I'd recommend:

▼Vegan Donuts

Dream Wave Vegan Donut: 40,000 IDR

Vegan donuts are a rare find. Both the lemon and tiramisu flavors here are entirely dairy-free.

Nena Café: Charcoal Wrap

Black Mexico: 55,000 IDR

Nena Café specializes in kebabs and shawarma, the Israeli dish of meat slow-roasted on a rotating spit.

It's tucked away in a quiet residential part of Kerobokan, but come lunchtime, local expats and Grab delivery drivers show up in steady streams—it's a real hidden favorite.

The Black Mexico wrap, 55,000 IDR, is wrapped in a striking jet-black bamboo charcoal tortilla and filled with chicken, beans, lettuce, tabasco, and jalapeño for a Mexican-inspired flavor.

YUKI

It has tabasco and jalapeño in it, but it's barely spicy at all—more like a gentle hint of heat.

When it arrives, tightly rolled and long, you might wonder what exactly you're looking at—but feel free to bite right in, or cut it with a knife, whichever you prefer.

YUKI

What makes this one stand out is the tortilla—it's grilled until crisp and fragrant on the outside, which pairs perfectly with the softness of the filling.

A good pairing for your wrap?

Passion Fruit Juice: 25,000 IDR

Freshly squeezed passion fruit or pineapple juice makes a great match. The balance of sweetness and tartness is spot-on, and it'd work just as well mixed with alcohol.

▼Plenty of Wrap Options

With so many options, it's easy to get overwhelmed, but if a little spice doesn't scare you off, the charcoal-infused Black Mexico is well worth trying.

So, what do you think?

With people from all over the world calling Bali home, the food scene extends far beyond Indonesian cuisine—and the quality really shows.

Definitely worth trying for yourself.
