Where to Find FOLD

Right in the heart of Canggu.

FOLD sits on Jalan Nelayan, running parallel to Batu Bolong, Canggu's main street.

It's about 1 to 1.5 hours from the airport. The route from the airport or Kuta has a few traffic hotspots, so it's best to avoid late afternoon.

Walk straight down Jalan Nelayan from FOLD and you'll reach Nelayan Beach in about 7–10 minutes.

After eating, take a walk to shop nearby or head to the beach!

Stylish and Easy to Settle Into

You can dine in, but plenty of people just stop by to grab bread to go.

This Canggu spot is FOLD's original location, with an Ubud branch opening more recently.

Both share the same signature green tile.

A photo-ready entrance

The terrace seating is picture-perfect for a quick coffee break.

Ground floor: grab-and-go counter

A glass display case takes center stage downstairs, filled with bread, sandwiches, and cakes.

You can eat items from the case in-house, or order from a separate dine-in menu.

Upstairs: quiet table seating

Upstairs is calmer, made for lingering over coffee or a meal. Lots of solo visitors — more relaxed than lively.

Floor-to-ceiling glass upstairs makes for an open, airy feel — though as of January 2025, the view happens to be a construction site.

Jalan Nelayan has developed fast over the past year or two, with new restaurants, shops, and villas going up all over.

That said, the construction noise wasn't an issue — inside was totally comfortable!

Crisp Outside, Chewy Inside: FOLD's Signature Sourdough

Perfect for breakfast or a light snack — this sourdough is our repeat order.

Dine in for a wide range of sourdough sandwiches.

Look for "TOAST" on the dine-in menu — that's the open-faced sandwiches.

Salmon on Toast

Thick-cut sourdough topped with cream cheese, smoked salmon, capers, and avocado.

Crispy outside, chewy inside — the more you chew, the more flavor comes through.

Tofu scramble toast(85,000 IDR) — a vegetarian take using tofu instead of scrambled eggs.

Avocado toast(85,000 IDR) — creamy smashed avocado with cherry tomatoes.

Burrata and tomato toast(95,000 IDR) — rich, mozzarella-like burrata paired with tomato.

Six sourdough sandwiches to choose from.

All come with house-fried potato chips and cocktail sauce.

That orange sauce is cocktail sauce — dip your chips in it, or add it to your sandwich for a twist.

BLTA Sandwich

Bacon, lettuce, tomato, and avocado — a classic BLTA.

Unlike the open sandwiches, this bread is sliced thin and toasted crisp.

Langer's Sandwich

Slow-cooked chicken with lettuce, tomato, and cheddar.

In both, the crisp sourdough held up well against the fillings — no sogginess, even to the last bite.

Prefer chewy? Go for the open toast. Prefer crispy? Go for the sandwich.

The cross-section looked so clean, and you could tell they really cared about the plating!

Take it home, chill it overnight, and it's still moist the next morning. Not too sweet, packed with banana — try it.
