Ancient Sound Healing: The Experience

| Session | Ancient Sound Healing |
| Price | 350,000 IDR (~$21) |
| Schedule | Daily, 6 sessions (9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, 7pm) |
| Duration | About 1.5 hours |
| Note | Official Site |
Ancient Sound Healing is the pyramid's signature session, running every day.
A circle of ancient instruments sits at the center, surrounded by mats where you can lie down anywhere you like and simply listen.

The pyramid easily fits 30+ people, and the crowd was a real mix of nationalities.

Ancient Sound Healing was my very first sound healing experience. Just from listening, my mind got strangely restless and cluttered with thoughts. Some people fell asleep right away, so it really varies from person to person.

Amerta Sound Medicine: Healing on a Deeper Level

| Session | Amerta Sound Medicine |
| Price | 400,000 IDR (~$24) |
| Schedule | Irregular schedule — check the official site, booking recommended |
| Duration | 1.5–2 hours |
| Note | Official Site |
True to its name, Amerta Sound Medicine treats sound itself as a form of healing.
Rooted in ancient sound medicine from Java, the session features live music and chanting on traditional Javanese instruments.

The chanting was in Javanese, and honestly, it sounded just like a Buddhist sutra!

Healer Garif, from Indonesia, plays the instruments while chanting alongside them.

Sage burned continuously at the center of the flowers throughout the session, and the scent alone was incredibly soothing.
A mini session comes before the sound healing itself.
Before you lie down, Garif and fellow healer Elma read each guest's aura and chakras, then share what they sense.

I was told my root chakra was weak, so eating root vegetables would help — and that I overthink things, so I should start acting on what my heart feels instead.

The mini session is in English, so some comprehension helps — but a friend of mine who doesn't speak English said she still felt deeply moved, even without following every word.
Hypnotic Sound Journey: Let Your Mind Unwind

| Session | Hypnotic Sound Journey |
| Price | 450,000 IDR (~$27) |
| Schedule | Held 2–3 times a month — check the website and book ahead |
| Duration | 1.5–2 hours |
| Note | Official Site |
The Hypnotic Sound Journey blends hypnotherapy with sound healing.
"Hypnotherapy" might sound intimidating, but it's really just guided meditation set to live music.

Musician Eduardo and hypnotherapist Owen lead the session together.

Each session fits about 20 people, and this one was fully booked.

Ancient Sound Healing runs multiple times a day and fits a lot of people, so walk-ins are usually fine — but for the Hypnotic Sound Journey and Sound Medicine, booking online ahead of time is a must.

Owen opens with a simple instruction: open your mind and let the sound guide your body and spirit.

As the music played, hypnotherapist Owen guided us in English — and honestly, I couldn't follow a word of it (laughs). Afterward I asked her if not understanding the English would affect the healing, and she said not at all — the vibration of her voice and the sound reaches your body and cells regardless of language.
The moment the handpan's haunting tones filled the room, the tears just wouldn't stop — by the end, I was in full-on happy tears.

It was a sound I'd never heard before, yet it felt oddly familiar — a past-life memory, maybe?

Light Sound Vibration: Realign Your Energy

| Session | Light Sound Vibration) |
| Price | 850,000 IDR (~$51) |
| Schedule | Daily (10am, 12pm, 2pm, 5pm, 7pm) — small groups, booking required |
| Duration | 1 hour |
| Note | Official Site |
At Pyramids of Chi, Light Sound Vibration falls under their "tech-enhanced" category.
LSV is a multi-sensory, multi-dimensional sound journey inspired by the weightless feeling of being in the womb, wrapped in the rhythm of a mother's heartbeat.
Combining light, sound, and vibration, it's priced higher than the other sessions — and it feels every bit as special.

The bed you lie on vibrates with the sound, while colored lights on the ceiling pulse in time with the music.

This white pyramid is dedicated entirely to Light Sound Vibration.

Lying on the warm waterbed brought an indescribable sense of calm — and as the sound played, faces of past relationships kept surfacing, one after another, stirring up an unexpected wave of gratitude and forgiveness.
One more thing — during Ancient Sound Healing I suddenly needed the bathroom despite going right beforehand, but with Light Sound Vibration, I stayed fully immersed in the sound, vibration, and light the whole time.

- What to wear
-
Since you'll just be lying on a mat, everyday clothes are fine — just go for something loose and comfortable.
- Don't speak English?
-
No worries at all. Sound healing is mostly about listening, so there's very little English you actually need to follow. The intro is in English, but it's really just "feel free to fall asleep while you listen" — nothing to stress over.
So, what do you think?
This is the kind of sound healing you'll want to come back to again and again during your stay.
Before you go, it helps to set an intention for what you want to feel.
Maybe you're looking for a message you need to hear, or maybe you just want deep relaxation — either way, set that intention before your session.
